This isn't a recent development. If memory serves, Anderson led the Midwest League in 2006 and the Texas League in 2007 in passed balls. This isn’t a recent development.

There is no way to tell if there was confusion over the signs, or whether the scorer messed it up. Glad he is throwing out a significant percentage of base stealers. Agree on the passed balls. Not saying Anderson is in the same league as Molina defesively but I wouldnt worry about the 7 pass balls from Andeson in 39 games. If this is the reason, I don't get it. Isn't it better to get his difficulties with lefty soft-tossers worked out in the minors, rather than blast him with them on arrival at the Show, where they're better pitchers? On Anderson, that passed-ball tendency is starting to get worrisome. If he can't get that fixed, both his future with the Cardinals and his trade value will take a hit. Has anybody seen any of his passed balls? Are they pitches that legitimately should have been handled, or borderline WP/PB calls that go against him, or what? Looks pretty good especially if Mura can replicate tonights start with some more innings in later starts. So rotation now in Springfield is Todd, Herron, Daniels, Ottavino, & Mura?
