There are far fewer catchers among the upper minors. If they wanted Todd and Anderson, it's far easier to replace Rasmus in the outfield than it is to replace Anderson's bat behind the plate. I google'd the Future Game and on wikipedia, they also made it sound like it was just 2 per team. Not a big deal, I kind of prefer you take the best players not having to take 2 from each team. That leaves D.Jiminez who is willing to sign but wants above slot or will head to a JUCO in So. IL. I am guessing the Cards will follow a guy like Jiminez and how he does over the Summer and then make him another offer. Luna is a tough sign as should Sizemore and Asaro who still have a 1 year left to go back and improve their draft status. Looking around though..Cards have been on of the more advanced teams in terms of getting their guys signed already. Solid job by Luhnow and his scouts!
