    You guys have been screaming for upside and the Cards just got one. He recently burst onto the JUCO scene. He’s never been drafted before. He struck out a guy per inning and has an ERA around 2.80. He’s a starting pitcher.

    The rest of the picks…basically fit the mold of the systems depth of 4th OF’er, #5 RHP’s and slap hitting middle infielders

    Luhnow and Co. said they would be more agressive this year and things will change….sorry, that hasnt happened.

    I am pinning alot of hope on drafting and signing fallen talent on Day 2

    Listen, it looks like last years draft is working out fairly well. Give this staff the benefit of the doubt. I promise that some of the guys we think are great picks will fall flat on their face and many of the pick we don’t have any idea about will prove their worth. Everyone needs to chill…
