While I’ll talk all the tools prospects I can come by (IE Zach Collier) it seems that the Cardinal are loaded throughout the system in terms of OF’ers and have very little in the middle infield or corner IF outside of Kozma and Allen Craig. And again, you can never have too much pitching.

Ankiel sat out today with a sore shoulder. If something happens to him then you probably call up Mather, it could be that they wanted him to get some rest from playing every day and that now makes even more sense as a just in case move.

I wouldn’t think they would give him a day off sence the team didn’t play on wednesday and he got a day off last sunday.

I think Shane Robinson sprained his wrist and has been resting the past few games. Nothing serious.

Allen Craig is really starting to heat up. He is hitting .323 with 6 Hr and 14 Rbi’s for the month.

They need to put Colby on the DL with a bogus injury and let him spend some time with Izzy on a beach in Florida. They can get their heads right together.

I’m not sure where Salas came from either, but he has been nails for springfield as of late. He comes in at around ninety three on the generous stadium gun and appears to use a slider and fastball both high in the zone. I’ve only seen him pitch a few times but he has made many hitters look foolish for the last month.

I’m no scout, but I am a little worried about the number of warning track fly balls he’s given up this year. this week I’ll try and find any of the scouts I recognize and get some opinions on our resident mystery man
