Among the other guys who made a splash in their '07 debuts, most are older (Derba and Hill are 22; Tony Cruz is 21), several have OBP concerns (Nick mentioned Hill's low walk rate; Riportella is another), and several (Hill and Cruz) are defensive ciphers. That's not to disparage any of those guys, just to note that Ingram has the fewest question marks at the youngest age. (In fairness, he also played at the lowest level and his sample size is as limited as all the others.) Ingram. I’ll go down with the ship on this one.
