• Amaury Marti Watch

Amaury Marti is currently hitting .424/.509/.633 in 39 games for the Mexican Red Devils of the Mexican League, also known as Liga de Amaury Cazana. Bud Selig ordered the Cardinals to banish him to there, in fear of the major leagues losing competitive balance.

Amaury also refuses to accept the watch curse. He has the power to curse, and the power to bless.

Another very close vote, with Motte narrowly beating out Jon Jay 14-12. Some nice support for Jess Todd and Mark Hamilton being thrown in there as well, things are shaping up rather nicely.

Next in my line is Todd

  7. Steve Hill, He hit a ton in his first go around

  8. I already voted, but shouldn’t Tyler Norrick’s name come up pretty soon?

  9. Hamilton.

  10. Mr. Todd

  11. i think todd and dew are really comparable so far, with dew getting slightly better results in a smaller sample size. dew also mostly pitched 1-2 innings at a time while todd went a bit deeper into his games and even started some. my vote is for todd.

  13. Descalso, the best hitter taken in the 2007 draft deserves a little credit

  18. Hamilton!

How has he dropped this far?

  19. I find it interesting how our voting list differs from Az and Erik’s lists:
1-7 are exactly the same on all 3
at 8 we have Boggs, Erik has him 10, Az 12
at 9 we have Craig, 11 and 9
at 10 we have Koz 8 and 16
at 11 we have Martinez 18 and 17
at 12 we have PJ 17 and 10
at 13 we have Hoff 13 and 11
at 14 we have Maiques 9 and 13
at 15 we have Mather 16 and 15
at 16 we have Motte 14 and 8

In their top 16 Hamilton (12 and 14) Todd (15 and 18) have yet to be ranked in the vote.

So it seems the community is higher on Boggs and Martinez then the bloggers, we seem to agree on Craig, Hoff and Mather. On the others we are close to one of them but not the other.

  36. Todd

  37. Jay

  38. Jay. He was outstanding his first half year and had injuries that may excuse last year’s performance.

  39. jon jay

  40. Todd

  41. Paul –

Hamilton’s AFL struggles are a big reason why he’s not been picked yet

  42. Jon Jay

  43. Mather

  44. oops. don’t know where my brain was w/ that Mather choice. Let’s say Hamilton
