• Amaury Marti Watch

Amaury Marti is currently hitting .424/.509/.633 in 39 games for the Mexican Red Devils of the Mexican League, also known as Liga de Amaury Cazana. Bud Selig ordered the Cardinals to banish him to there, in fear of the major leagues losing competitive balance.

Amaury also refuses to accept the watch curse. He has the power to curse, and the power to bless.

After my extra prodding due to the lack of votes with the last round, we had double the amount of votes this time around. Thank you everyone for responding! It turned out to be the closest vote we had so far, Joe Mather beat Jason Motte by one vote. 13-12. Poster Dan broke the tie nearly 4 hours after the last vote was cast.

I notice Jon Jay, Mark Hamilton and Jess Todd are starting to climb into the thick of things. So who will be #16? Will it be Motte, or someone else? Let’s hear it people, keep up the strong turnout!

Also, look out below for a winter ball update.

  21. I’m going for Steve Hill next and Stavinoha will show something big this year

  22. Jay! if he would of been healthy all year last year i think he would of deff been top 10 if not top 5!

  23. Jay - because outfielders are more valuable prospects than relievers.

  24. Jay for me again.

If he was the second coming of Tony Gwynn in 2006, and lost much of 2007 to injury, I don’t see how he’s not at least our 16th best guy.

That’s no slam on Motte. I just think Jay’s skill set is potentially more valuable.

  25. Michael Blazek p is just 18 yrs old had era 2.60 almost 11k per 9 in

  26. hugo, can u vote again. i accidently deleted the post, it got caught in my spam folder

  28. Motte…I think I fixed the auto complete on my firefox at home, somehow Hug got set instead of Hugo and my email address lost the m at the end of com (which is probably why it went to your spam). Hopefully it won’t happen again….technology is such a love/hate thing.

any of these guys could be interchangeable it seems

  30. Todd

  31. Jay
