• Amaury Marti Watch

Amaury Marti is currently hitting .424/.509/.633 in 39 games for the Mexican Red Devils of the Mexican League, also known as Liga de Amaury Cazana. Bud Selig ordered the Cardinals to banish him to there, in fear of the major leagues losing competitive balance.

Amaury also refuses to accept the watch curse. He has the power to curse, and the power to bless.

Maiques won the last vote in a landslide, but I’m a little disappointed by the lowest turnout since we started-just 25 votes. Normally, we’ve been getting 35-40 votes at a time.  Hopefully you all have slept off all the turkey and are ready to vote for # 15. I know for a fact there are way more readers out there then voters. I urge you to quit just lurking and let your voice be heard!

I’m a huge fan of Kenny Maiques myself from watching him pitch, good to see him make it at # 14.

  18. Motte. He and Maiques are somewhat interchangeable for me. Both have big time arms and are projected to be bullpen guys. The one thing I like about Motte though is that he doesn’t have a lot of innings on his arm.

  30. I vote Mather (and would have for the last several rounds if I’d been paying attention).

  31. Motte…

don’t we need to be a bit more reserved on Mather. He’s had a lot of pro ball and only a year or so of success…

  38. Jess Todd, from my hometown and he is a beast.

  39. Mather.

  40. I’ll vote for Hamilton.

  41. jon jay…one injured year doesnt make him dead

  42. This is where it gets really hard for me because I just don’t see much seperation in the value or potential of many of the players that fit here. I am not real high Hamilton, but he’s may pick. I’ll go with him hoping that he displays the kind of power he has the potential of showing. My guess is that he stays at AA for the entire year and hopefully he’ll continue to adjust to a higher level. He didn’t show anything at AFL, hopefully he was just tired.

    Again my pick: Hamilton

  43. Really like Motte, but he’s still too far off…only been pitching a couple years….needs time….so I’ll say hamilton
