They are giving him a shot in the Spring. They don't owe him more than that. I said in the thread about minor league rotations for this upcoming year that the last spot in Memphis should go to a LH. Naverson could also serve as a backup for Flores or Johnson if one gets hurt. With the current roster, there is no one near ready from the left side to back them up.
