I was just joking around. Everyone expects Duncan to turn crap into gold. for every daryl kile or chris carpenter, there's a sidney ponson and a kip wells. i think he's a good pitching coach, but it depends on the player to respond. maybe brazelton will pick up on somethings this spring, maybe he won't. you are right, he's probably just AAA roster filler. He is this years Randy Keisler to me, at the first sign of trouble he is our go to guy. He could also surprise us and make the major league team. Duncan won't be instructing him much there. On Brazelton, I don’t see him getting the Dunc treatment, mainly because he was signed for AAA filler duty. Duncan won’t be instructing him much there.

Eh, who knows. Worth a look, I guess. I’m at least encouraged by his posibility of an upside.

I think he can hit about as well as Bennett with more power. Brazelton doesn't seem to fit the stereotype of pitchers that get the Duncan makeover, basically because, well, he does have upside left. Hopefully it'll work, though. There's no better example of low risk/high reward than this! Even if LaRue can’t hit for average, he’s got more pop than any backup catcher we’ve had in a while.
