He has had a lost season, quite a bit like his fellow draft buddy Jon Jay....but I think Robinson has a chance to hit next year and get back on the prospect radar screen. How much better would this system be if 2 or 3 of the McCormick, Jay, Robinson, J.Wilson and T.Greene group actually put it together? He's having a really good year since his promotion to Palm Beach, and he's 22 years old. I can see Jay and Shorey manning the other two spots but no one else at PB looks ready to make the jump. The way the ball jumps off of Rasmus' bat is a sight to see. Hamilton made good contact all night. And maybe Gorecki is finally getting 100% because he looked really good at the plate, and made a heck of a throw from deep right field to throw out the Travelers' lead off hitter at third. The only down side of the night was the way Boggs pitched. He pitched a lot worse than the 5 runs he allowed. Arkansas was just teeing off the whole time. He made a couple of good pitches in jams to keep the scoring as low as it was. I was able to go to the Springfield game. The way the ball jumps off of Rasmus’ bat is a sight to see. He's been hitting the ball lately. As someone who played with him in high school, I wish him luck. I’m glad to see that OF Travis Mitchell got promoted to Batavia from Johnson City.
