We called him Tiny Tim even though obviously there was nothing tiny about him. I saw him hit 4 homeruns in that tournament and it was amazing! He is still talked about at my house for being one of the best baseball boys we ever had and not only because of his tallent but also for just being one of the nicest guys we ever had. So Tim if you see this just know that the Kettermans are still thinking of you and we are so amazed at how far you have gotten. your awesome dude! As stated from other posters here he has power, but it was evident he had problems hitting better pitchers, When speed got up to 85 mph he rarely got a hit, this may be some of the problem he is having as he moved up. He missed a lot of fat pitchs while he was a miner in southern Illinois, I wish him the best. Defensively he will be alright. Offensively will be the spot where he may not make it. I currently live and work in Springfield, MO. The greatest thing about my job is that I work for the St. Louis Cardinals AA organization here. If anyone remembers, Josh Kinney also came from the Frontier League. It would be an honor to see Tim Dorn make it to double A here in Springfield so that my connection to home feels a lot better with a player that came from Southern Illinois. As a Miner season ticket holder I saw a lot of Tim Dorn play in several games. His defense needs some improving but he has awesome power. I saw him hit a shot into the batter's eye screen over the 400 ft center field fence. We miss him here but wish him the best! Yes, indeed. He crushed two balls over the 400' center field wall and gave the home crowd a lot to cheer about in a victory over the Slippery Rock Sliders. I mentioned to my dad after the game about indy leagues having a better chance to build a fan base because the players aren't as likely to be called up to the next level. Shows what I know! The problem is, his swing gets long. He is pretty good around the bag which is kind of surprising given his size. I saw him turn on a pitch and hit it about 400 feet. Awesome power. http://www.whiteyball.com erik,
