P J Walters is joining Palm Beach after tonights MWL All-star game. Tommy Pham is headed to Batavia and Jose Martinez is headed up to play the OF for the Swing at Quad Cities. I was really impressed by Mather the two games I saw in Memphis. Gracefully handles both the OF and first. Bozied getting the boot is probably a safe bet. The Cardinals should start shifting Memphis from a storehouse for AAAA players to one that contains players that might actually have a future. We are out of the race. I was disgusted when I saw Clay Davenport's playoff predictor Monte Carlo simulation had us at .08% chance of making the playoffs. Yuck. Bring up Mather and probably Perez next. Rasmus once he gets out of this slump. Garcia probably after that. If someone on the MLB squad goes down, keep shuffling the AAAA players up, but if its for an extended period of time, I would look for an older guy like a Mather to get the PT to see what he can do. No way Rasmus, Garcia, Perez make the ball club this year sans a September call up. Just my thoughts... Here, here. I was really impressed by Mather the two games I saw in Memphis. It's pretty dang crowded in that AAA outfield. I suspect Bozied gets the book when Skippy comes back down. Just a baseless prediction though That’s great for Mather.
