- Mike Parisi pitched a quality start although he was far from dominant. In 6 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 9 hits, 1 BB and 1K. He also hit a batter and allowed more flyouts that groundouts (9 to 8).
- Chris Lambert threw 2 innings of relief. And they look good in the box score. 0 hits, 0 walks, 3 Ks.
Springfield 1, Corpus Christi 2
- Cody Haerther goes 3-for-4.
- Jared Hoffpauir goes 3-for-3 with a BB.
- Juan Richardson goes 2-for-4 with the only extra base hit for Springfield, a double.
- Jaime Garcia had a fantastic outing. In 6.2 innings, he strikes out 7, walks 2, and allows 6 hits. Sadly, that was good for 2 runs (1 earned) and the loss. On top of that, Garcia had a 12-1 GO:AO ratio.
- Dan Nelson goes 2-for-5 with a double.
- AJ Van Slyke goes 3-for-5 with a double.
- Mark Hamilton goes 2-for-3 and collects 2 walks.
- Shortstop Jose Martinez flashes some power with a double and a HR going 2-for-5.
- Gary Daley struggled in his outing walking 7 during 4 innings of work. He allowed 5 runs with 6 hits and 2 Ks.
- Luke Gregerson closed out the game with a scoreless frame to lower his ERA to 0.99 and collect his 10th save.
