As Azru noted on his daily report, Chris Narveson left last night’s game in the first inning. Here’s the report at the official site of the Memphis Redbirds.
As the Memphis pitcher delivered a 2-2 pitch to Mike Eylward, he doubled over in pain and walked to the back of the pitcher’s mound. After being examined by trainer Chris Conroy he left the game with what appeared to be a shoulder injury. He will be re-examined today. There was no other information on his condition at press time.
That doesn’t sound good, especially considering Narveson’s history of injuries. I’ll keep my eyes open for any new news on this throughout the next day or so.
