I somehow let a tidbit of juicy info slip past me. It seems Chris Lambert’s promotion wasn’t much of a promotion at all, depending on your point of view. Lambert will pitch out of the bullpen for Memphis.

After hitting just .234/.306/.429 in his first 77 at bats in his usual “new level, new devil” slog through, Rasmus’s bat looks like it may have exorcised the demon. In his 13 plate appearances for the month of May, he’s hitting .545/.615/1.273 with 2 home runs.
