It seems like he's just hitting into bad luck. Like the game tonight, in the later innings he apparently hit a bullet, but right at first base. Also, he at least is hitting the ball and not just striking out every time up (even though he know has five). Maybe i'm just a crazed cardinals, but i hope i'm right and it's not that they are overpowering him... He gets overshadowed by guys like Rasmus and Anderson and Greene but his ceiling is probably better than David Eckstein.
