- A Reid Gorecki error led to the a Midland base runner in the 10th to score from 1st to home on a single.
- Joe Mather went 2 for 5 with 2 doubles.
- Chris Lambert struck out 5 in 6 innings, allowing only 1 run on 3 hits and 2 walks.
Jupiter 2, Palm Beach 0
- Against former Missouri State Bear and top draft pick Brett Sinkbeil, the Cardinals were held to 2 hits over 6 innings. After Sinkbeil, the PB Cards only managed to get 1 other hit. All their hits were singles.
- Adam Ottavino struck out 5 in 4 innings, and allowed only 1 earned run off of 3 hits and 3 walks.
- Catcher Danilo Sanchez allowed 2 passed balls.
Swing of the Quad Cities vs. Clinton was postponed. I live in Iowa, and I can tell you it’s frickin’ freezing here.
