I have known Matt for 22 Years. He is like a brother to me. He is the kind of guy that will give you the shirt off your back any day of the week. I have watched him play baseball from Little League to now. I even visited him during Spring Training in March 2008 while playing with Springfield. My brother has played on the same team with Matt and he has always worked hard for as long as he can remember. Matt deserves to have this chance to show the world what he is truly made of and what he can do on the mound. Matt, all of Crabapple Court is rooting for you! GO MATT!

Matt Scherer is not only a great ball player but an outstanding individual. I’ve had the pleasure of watching Matt develop his skills both as a youngster and a young adult. He has already achieved what most of us only dream of which is to have a chance to play ball on this sort of level. There is no doubt in my mind that he deserves to be where he is and I look forward to seeing him pitch for the Cards sometime in the near future.

Matt Scherer is an outstanding player. I’ve seen him. He also has a nice demeanor and personality. He seems to be really changing into a professional. I can’t wait to see more.
