• Amaury Marti Watch

Amaury Marti is currently hitting .424/.509/.633 in 39 games for the Mexican Red Devils of the Mexican League, also known as Liga de Amaury Cazana. Bud Selig ordered the Cardinals to banish him to there, in fear of the major leagues losing competitive balance.

Amaury also refuses to accept the watch curse. He has the power to curse, and the power to bless.

Yet another link post

Maybe I should make this a regular feature…lots of great reading /info concerning the farm team out there recently.

First of all the Memphis Redbirds rolled out new uni’s. The M on the cap sure looks like the “M” for Milwaukee. The jerseys are nice, though.

  1. I clicked over and the first person listed is Jose Martinez! I’ve started an internet sensation. The day he’s inducted into Cooperstown, you can all remember where you heard it first.

(Actual comment may exceed actual performance.)

Erik, if you had to take one and only one group’s opinion on minor leaguers: who do you choose and why? Sickels, Goldstein, the gang at BA, other?

  2. Those are some sharp unis. An improvement over the previous ones, I think.
